The Information Agenda approach is to interview your lines of business and IT to understand where the company’s key pain points around data and information management lie. These pain points hold the company back from achieving break through success.
The goal of the Information Agenda is to understand the current state of the company’s information management, determine the desired state information management needs to operate at in order to achieve business objectives, identify the gaps between the current state and the desired state and build a road map of activities to achieve the desired state. This road map becomes the company’s Information Agenda and underpins the company’s Strategic Business Objectives.
